Bibbiano

Bibbiano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Emilia in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about northwest of Bologna and about southwest of Reggio Emilia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,422 and an area of .[1]

The municipality of Bibbiano contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Barco, Belvedere, Casale di Sopra, Case Catalani, Gattaglio, Ghiardo, Il Folletto, Mangallana, Piazzola, Razza, and San Filippo.

Bibbiano borders the following municipalities: Cavriago, Montecchio Emilia, Quattro Castella, Reggio Emilia, San Polo d'Enza.
